The 14/48 Festival is essentially a weekend-long production where by 14 different writers will write 14 different plays that get directed by 14 different directors, cast out, and performed all within the span of 48 hours (hence the name).
I have been part of the band for the past two years. We are in charge of the main music intro and outro, scoring the plays, and all of the foley work that comes along with it.
Since they are run twice each night, we wind up doing 28 performances in the span of 48 hours. That's a lot of material to write and memorize and we have only about 8-10 hours each day to do it!
