I was so happy when I found out that my old friend Brad Parker had moved back to Austin with his partner, Be.

For Brad's 39th birthday Be rented out the pool deck at the W, flew in a musician from Oklahoma that Brad loved, and had the W cater a fantastic dinner to about 20 of Brad's friends.

Just after we cut the birthday cake the sky absolutely opened up and we experienced one of those famous Austin storms of hail and fury from god. Short story: It was an amazing party.
