 Franz Josef Glacier, New Zealand Franz Josef Glacier, New Zealand On our way down the west coast highway (Hwy 6) in New Zealand, we stopped off at the Franz Josef Glacier. Although we didn't actually hike the glacier (as many people do), we did go on the path for a few miles. Tisa, Sean, and I had tried to make this voyage a few months earlier but unfortunately got caught in a down pour when we arrived. Sean and I still went as far as we could, but when the weather turns bad in New Zealand, it's no fun for anyone. |
