Horseshoe Bend Page, AZ Horseshoe Bend is one of the more famous curves in all of the Colorado River running through the Grand Canyon. The bend makes a full 180 degree turn and gives the appearance of a horseshoe from up high. We got to sit right on the edge of the cliff overlooking the edges several hundred feet below us. What was more amazing is that we started the day in a huge snowstorm. The roads on the way out there were covered in snow and ice, but by the time we actually hiked up to the top, the snowstorm had passed and the sun was starting to shine once again. It was a pretty spectacular view! In this album: Kevin Ludlow, Wan Shan Loo |
