There is a guy living in Williamson County, Texas who was charged with selling pot brownies and faces from 5 years to life in prison.
I had the pleasure of meeting him a few weeks back and also happened to attend a rally in his honor at the Georgetown courthouse.
I was happy to see so many people show up and express their discontent for the situation.
I can only hope that the justice system removes Jacob from their cross-hair, but even if they do this should serve as a reminder to how backwards the State of Texas and many other parts of the United States are.
The justice system of the United States is a joke at very best and anyone who would spread the platitude that America is the number one country in the world, or the "best" country in the world is simply not examining all of the facts.
