After getting through the precinct and county levels, I was elevated to a State Delegate for the Libertarian Party of Texas.
The convention started off with an open carry around Temple. This immediately led to friends of mine thinking it was some sort of large gun rally rather than a party convention, but what can you do?
The convention itself was tons of fun. I am especially proud to say that I was able to help change the platform language so that it is very inviting to foreigners (most notably Mexicans on the southern border of Texas).
I was also selected to go to the National Convention in Ohio in June.
