I've been meaning to do this office remodel for a few years now, but had continued putting it off.
I spent the time modeling it all out when I was living in Missouri and had planned to do the work in March of this past year. But as my plans rather dramatically changed, it suddenly wasn't much of a priority. I was also pretty sure that I'd be able to do it pretty quickly given my general carpenter skills. But this just left me putting it off even more.
It undoubtedly would have been much easier with some help, but I instead dedicated the weekend to finishing it. It wound up taking me about 27 hours of work all told. Of course I couldn't move my shoulders for a day or two, but well worth it.
I still need to put the drywall up, but that's a relatively minor thing overall.
The new office has a great feel to it and it's still a pretty huge room!
