Even though I had just seen him a week earlier, Ron Paul was speaking at the Texas State Capitol and so I went to check him out.
Unfortunately this particular event was being run by the Texas Tea Party Express and to say the least, those guys are insane.
I really didn't care for the majority of what was said and the entire event was run like a church affair - lots of dogmatic circle-jerking that I could certainly live without.
Ron Paul, however, did deliver another great speech about personal liberties (something I fear most of the Tea Party does not really understand).
