The annual Sadie Hawkins dance in highschool. I went with my good friend Deidra Barak. The girls all had a plan of just wearing normal clothes to the dance, but Deidra (rather famously at the time) purchased us each a nice $110 USD sweater to wear. I wore that sweater for many years before finally retiring it.
