I had a bunch of servers I needed to get rid of and as it turned out, so did my main client, Blue Moon. I knew a guy from years ago who started a business reselling used servers. In fact, my original server farm mostly came from him.
It wound up being a huge and unfortunate pain in the ass and we didn't recover any finances from the process. Fortunately though, it was all taken care of.
