 Skydive San Marcos San Marcos, TX For Dayna's birthday, I thought I would get her something a bit out of the ordinary and something she had wanted to try for a long time. We headed down to the sky diving center in the afternoon and went through our briefing. A couple of hours later, we were up in the sky and jumping out of the plane. Although we did tandem jumps, Dayna's primary chute malfunctioned; some of the cables got crossed. Evidently they were plummeting to the ground pretty quickly and her jumpmaster was just about to cut the cords away and throw the reserve when the wires finally untangled.
