Continuing our drive, Tisa and I stopped at Te Mata peak which is just east of Hastings and Napier on the North Island. The peak offered some spectacular views of the North Island country side. We pulled the camper van up to the top of the peak, had a picnic, and strolled around the cliffs for a few hours.
