 The Dallas Landfill Dallas, TX This was a pretty cool expedition. Dayna volunteers at the Dallas landfill (the city dump) and was able to take me on a tour of the place with one of her coworkers. I wasn't able to take too many pictures at her request, but it was pretty fascinating seeing mountains of garbage being worked by heavy machinery. The smell is not exactly what you'd think it is. It's almost a sweet kind of smell and I think is really only offensive because you're inhaling it with your mouth and mentally thinking about what you're doing. In this album: Dayna Cowley |
