 The River Inn Hunt, TX When Laura was a kid, she used to attend a summer camp out in the area called Waldemar. So just before I moved to Mexico for the summer, and to celebrate Laura's 21st birthday, Laura, Sunni, and Erica invited me on a trip to the nostalgic River Inn. I think the highlight for the girls was being pulled around in a boat that was literally chained to my waist. I also had the pleasure of medically assisting in an accident just hours after we had arrived. As it happened, a car careened off of the bridge and into the side of the concrete culvert. Since I had just finished a medical class for my search and rescue dive class, I actually had my medical kit with me and ran to the scene.
