 Traveling to Essex Essex, NY Caroline and I took a trip to visit her parents up in northern New York (about an hour south of the Canadian border). It was quite a trip to get there as we had to fly from Houston to Newark to Burlington, then take a ferry across Lake Champlain, and then drive the short distance into her parents town.
